Matthew Skau is a former prosecutor and occasional pro-tem judge with a background in international studies and legal ethics. He has been helping people accused of criminal misdemeanors and traffic infractions since 2015. He practices in a variety of district and municipal courts in King, Snohomish, Skagit, Whatcom, and Pierce counties with occasional forays beyond. Matthew graduated with his Juris Doctorate from Seattle University School of Law. He has a Masters degree in International Studies from the University of Washington and a Bachelor of Arts in English.

Sara Liu is a traffic ticket and DUI attorney. She commonly defends traffic tickets, suspended license, and DUI cases in the Pierce County area. Most of her Washington cases are in Tacoma and Federal Way. Sara has a keen eye for detail and is entrusted to write law briefs, review DUI traffic stop videos, and BAC room videos. She is in charge of legal research and is entrusted to keep the law firm up to date on changes in the law. She is forward thinking and keeps our law practice ahead of the pack. Sara double checks the issues on every criminal case to make sure we did not miss anything. She ensures the deals we take are solid and that you get the best possible result for your case. Sara grew up in the Tacoma and Federal Way areas. She graduated from the University Of Washington in Seattle with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. Sara has also attended college in the University Of Manitoba in Canada, where she studied French immersion. She received her Juris Doctor degree from the University Of Detroit Mercy in Detroit, Michigan, and a Canadian Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Windsor. Sara is licensed to practice law in Washington State and Ontario, Canada. Sara speaks, reads, and writes fluent Mandarin Chinese. She frequently travels to China. Sara has a truly international perspective and this perspective allows her to see the law from unique and creative angles.

Justin Nipper is currently a third-year law student at Seattle University School of law. While at school, he participated in numerous trial competitions and is very passionate about his future career as a trial attorney. Before pursuing a career in law, Justin worked at a legal software company called Aderant. Originally from Florida, Justin received his Bachelor’s degree from Florida State University in 2014, where he majored in history and political science.
Lynn is our Office Manager. She is responsible for all administrative aspects of our firm. Her primary field of specialty is e-commerce and marketing. She graduated from the University of Washington with a B.A. in Economics in 2008 and went on to complete her MBA online in 2014 at Western Governors University while working full-time. In addition, she is also fluent in Vietnamese. Her unique combination of experiences in marketing, technology, and the legal field make her an invaluable part of the team. In her spare time she enjoys cooking, going on road trips, spending time with family and playing with her puppy Sunny.
